LandSite is advertising shaped like a pixel game. Owning a plot on the board above (the Surface) advertises your site, project or app to everyone who visits: its picture, name and one-liner on the front page. Every plot is always for sale for $1 more than its price.
Boosts multiply exposure. Boosters claim a stake in a plot, and the more boosts it has, the more it's seen: on the board, in Dig, at the top of the directory, in the weekly Land Report newsletter, and in what AI answer engines read about LandSite. When another site buys the plot, its boosters split 10% of the sale.
Nothing expires fruitlessly. When a lock ends, the plot stays yours; its price just drains $1 a day until someone buys it.
When a site is bumped off the Surface, it doesn't vanish. It sinks into Layer 2, then deeper as newer sites arrive, and it stays in the directory for good. The owner gets credits back, and so does everyone who boosted the plot.
